Facilitation
Service Description
In a facilitation process, I help groups and teams move away from patterns of avoidance and blame and move towards direct, honest communication where everybody is seen and heard. There are a variety of topics and tools that I work with in facilitation work. Sessions are tailored to fit the needs and goals of each organization and team. 1. Team Building: a. Re-connect: For teams to work efficiently, it is important to have moments away from the every-day grind, to gain perspective and to reconnect. In a team-building facilitation session, we will use a variety of activities that support a team in getting to know each other better, clarify common values and strengthen trust, belonging, and motivation among team members. b. Goals and Roles: When teams get stuck in unhelpful patterns, or members of the team begin stepping on each others’ toes - it is often because there are misunderstandings that need to be brought to the surface. In these moments I can work with you to take a step back, map out where you are, what your needs are, and create a new map for future work together. 2. Cross-border dialogue: I have over a decade of experience in cross-border dialogue facilitation. I have led curriculum design, implementation, and facilitation for programs designed to cultivate empathy, understanding, and authentic self-expression across lines of conflict. Please contact me for more details on facilitation programs.
