Public Narrative Workshops

Service Description

In the Public Narrative workshop, we explore the power of stories to motivate and create change. With a combination of upfront learning and small-group practice, participants will learn practical tools for narrative-building as a central component of authentic and effective leadership, with an emphasis on real-world implementation. Participants will learn strategies for: - Reflecting on and honing leadership values and priorities - Effective and skillful communication regarding mission and vision - Building connection and trust with audience - Creating motivation and urgency to join a call to action When you learn how to link your personal story to a collective call to action, you build connection, urgency, and motivation for others to join you in your mission. In addition to skill building, participants in workshops practice and share stories, thus building community with their colleagues, and strengthening their commitment to one another and to the group’s shared values and mission.
